Media Engagement Standards
Media Guidelines
Structured engagement protocols for media professionals, interview coordination, and compliance-aware communications.
Interview Protocol
- All interview requests are coordinated through the Communications Office
- Only designated spokespersons are authorized for on-record statements
- Interview topics are reviewed for compliance and export control sensitivity prior to scheduling
- Recording and publication of interviews require prior written agreement
On-Background vs. On-Record Clarification
All media interactions default to on-record unless explicitly agreed otherwise prior to the exchange. Background briefings are provided at the discretion of the Communications Office and are subject to specific attribution rules communicated in advance.
Sensitive Topics Policy
The following topics require additional review and may be subject to restrictions:
- Active government contracts and program performance
- Export-controlled technologies and capabilities
- Personnel matters and internal operations
- Strategic initiatives and acquisition-related matters
- Pending regulatory or compliance actions
Security & Export Limitations
Media communications do not include controlled technical data, classified information, or proprietary details subject to ITAR, EAR, or contractual restrictions. All technical statements are reviewed for export control compliance prior to release.
Crisis Communications Escalation Path
Media inquiries related to incidents, safety events, or crisis situations are escalated to the Crisis Communications team in accordance with the organization's Crisis Communications Protocol. Standard media engagement procedures are suspended during active crisis communications periods.
Investor Communications Separation Policy
Monarch Space Systems maintains formal separation between the following communication categories:
- Investor Materials: Prepared for institutional investors and strategic partners under appropriate disclosure frameworks
- Media Statements: Public communications prepared for press and general audiences
- Proposal Materials: Formal response documents governed by acquisition regulations and contractual requirements
These categories are maintained independently to ensure compliance discipline, prevent inadvertent disclosure, and preserve institutional integrity across stakeholder audiences.
Public materials provided herein are for informational purposes only and do not constitute contractual commitments. Certain materials may be subject to U.S. export control regulations including ITAR and EAR. Monarch Space Systems does not publicly distribute controlled technical data. All communications align with the organization's Public Communications Policy, Disclosure & Forward-Looking Statements framework, and applicable corporate governance standards.
